‘Dolly’ Dolgoch will be there with her brother Brynglas from Wellington. Both are beautiful replicas of a Welsh Slate Mine Engine. ‘Dolgoch’ opened the passenger service on the Talyllyn Line in Wales in 1866, she is still in service working the preserved Talyllyn Line. ‘Mini’ Fell is coming, Mini Fell is a replica of the famous H199 Fell Engine used on the Rimutaka Incline. Fairley Steam Locomotive from Wellington will be there, a replica of a delightful looking engine that was built in Bristol in the 1880s.
