Dexter Day at Cross Creek
A National Open Day is to be held by the Dexter Cattle Society NZ (Inc) on 13th – 14th April and the Rimutaka Dexters of Cross Creek, Featherston are part of this. Their Dexter Herd will be open for viewing at 52 Cross Creek Road, (road to the incline) on Saturday 13th 10am – 4pm and Sunday 14th 11.30pm – 4pm (or by appointment). Phone 06 308-6100 Dexter Cattle are a smaller breed of cattle with a Irish history being bred from the indigenous cattle found in the Kerry region.
