Featherston Well Represented At Junior World Cup Hockey Qualifier
Benedict and Katherine van Woerkom put the community of Featherston and Wairarapa hockey well and truly on the map when they both represented New Zealand at the Junior Hockey World Cup qualifying tournament held in Brisbane in February where they were the only brother/sister combination at the event. For older brother Benedict it was his second time wearing the silver fern – he had previously attended the Sultan of Johor Cup in Malaysia.
