Spring clean your medicine cabinet for a safer home
Featherston residents and businesses are being encouraged to clear out their cupboards of unused or out-of-date medicine to reduce accidental poisonings and medication misuse. Local medical practices, pharmacies and the Wairarapa DHB are running a ‘medicine spring clean’ campaign during September to reduce the amount of unused medicines sitting in medicine cabinets that can be a safety hazard to families and workers.
