Local mayor to retire
After 12 long years South Wairarapa District Mayor Adrienne Staples has decided to call it a day. In no way can they be called turbulent years but as in all major organisations – as in life – there have been highs and lows. It would be true to say, though, as far as the district as a whole is concerned, the highs have far outweighed the lows.
