Lionesses visit Malaghan Institute
March already and we are all geared up for another exciting year. On 25th January 2017 11 members and one’s husband ventured into Wellington to visit the Malaghan Institute. A very informative day. We were amazed to see so many students there as most of us thought University gets under way in March but the day we visited it was a hive of activity. The Malaghan Institute is part of the University so we had lunch at one of their cafe with our 2 hosts who then took us in to a lecture room showed slides and explained their Medical Research.
