Featherston First Fridays
Last year, Rebekah Mehrtens and I started Featherston First Fridays on a wing and a prayer, on the smell of an oily shoestring, and on the back of more bad metaphors than you could shake a stick at. Why? We like fun! And we felt the time had come for a public but community-centred summer event in Featherston, celebrating what a vibrant and colourful town we have. One thing led to another and, before we knew it, we’d done four.
