Why Featherston kids love Fridays
At a converted warehouse in Featherston, 100 excited children arrive at Friday Club for fun and friendship. They play on pool tables, air hockey, table soccer and on the basketball court. There are board games and arts and crafts. They queue to go down the slide and they climb inside an old top-dressing plane. They are enthusiastic and some laugh and skip while others play dodge ball. There is even a row of retro Space Invaders machines that are always popular.
