Plenty of competition at community swim relay
A fantastic number of entries made for superb night of swimming competition in our 19th consecutive year. 24 teams arrived, smiling, supporting, renewing acquaintances. We couldn’t run without Station 63, Featherston Fire Brigade, providing first response for the event. Thank you for your presence. Congratulations to the Pioneer Trophy winners: “South Wairarapa Young Farmers 2”, Adam Vollebregt, Rachel Gardner, Hamish Hammond and Petra Fransen. Second place was the “Winter Whānau”, Greer, Jake and Jon Winter and Ajay Waters. Third place was “The Dories”, Margit Ferguson, Julia O’Driscoll, Holly Hancox and Jazelle Rich dale. Teams “South Wairarapa Young Farmers 1”, “Bow Chika”, “Station 63” and “Carterton Alumni” also made the Trophy final.
