It’s springtime in beautiful Featherston!
Several years ago the Featherston Beautification Group was formed and ran successfully under the guidance of Kath Lang, Diana Donald and Dean Davies, to name a few. They did extensive research amongst the community to determine what people would like to see and improve in the main street of town. A resulting outcome of this was to determine that the main street would be divided into three themed sections: the native bush and wetlands at the Remutaka end, the Fell Engine and its history in the middle of town, and the military theme towards the northern end.
