Announcement: Sports Hub open day
On 7 March the Featherston Rugby Club will be hosting the first annual Featherston Sports Hub open day from 10am until 1pm. There will be lots of fun and games. Football will take on rugby in a game of touch. The athletics crew will try and out run the walking and swimming groups. Which sports group will win the tug of war? All activities are open to participation from anyone. Did we mention the spot prizes and sausage sizzle? “This is an exciting opportunity and event for the wider Featherston community,” says Nifo Ili, co-founder of the Sports Hub. “We really want to see the community get out and support all the different sporting groups Featherston has.”
