Freshwater buzz enabling community connection
The students at St Teresa’s School are stoked to welcome Featherston’s very own freshwater science station! Conceived around a year ago and created in collaboration with the students, teacher Liz Lark, Mountains to Sea Director Zoe Studd and artist Siv Fjærestad, this science station features not only a workspace to do freshwater monitoring, but also information on the project, catchment map, research into the stream’s many names, a tuna kuwharuwharu panel, and a macroinvertebrates chart for identifying your inverts!
