The Featherston Knitters made the most of lockdown, producing hand-knitted items for various institutions and agencies. Covid-19 saw a big demand for extra items for families in need, such as jerseys, hot-water bottles, shawls for the elderly, clothing for babies and children, and blankets of all shapes and sizes.
