‘Fabulous Featherston, what more can we say?’
The partnership agreement was signed between Fab Feathy and the Department of Internal Affairs on 2 February 2018. The partnership contract was five years long and we (Featherston) were successful in applying for and gaining a 6th (wrap up) year.
Although the pandemic overshadowed much of this time, Fab Feathy has supported the Paetūmōkai Featherston community achieve many things.
As a legacy project, Fab Feathy has invested in building a new Featherston.info website which will be online very soon.
It will hold the Fab Feathy archive – such as the Community Plan, the Moana Trail Feasibility study and our survey results.
It also gives a brief history of a few of the many projects they have been involved in throughout the six year journey. This new website will also continue to be a fantastic directory for Featherston.
