A Cruise to the Ferry
A wee sip of sparkly and chocs for the ladies (with coffee and cake for the guys) proved to be an appropriate and popular starting point at Vinni’s in Boundary Road before the ‘Wai-Wheels’ annual Mother’s Day cruise out to the iconic Lake Ferry Hotel.
A great turnout for the occasion with car enthusiasts from as far afield as Manawatu, Hutt Valley and the wider Wairarapa visiting for the occasion – an awesome display of immaculately presented vehicles and enthusiastic owners ready for a good day cruising.
After some time catching up with friends and acquaintances, we took a leisurely trip out to the coast where we were greeted with
blue skies, warm sunshine and shimmering water – a great sea view of our lovely coastline giving us a glimpse of the South Island – what a spectacular sight it is.
