Our gym has officially opened the doors to its new premises at 74 Fox Street, Featherston, marking a major milestone for the gym after nine years of steady growth. What began as a small community initiative has developed into a full training facility offering three to four classes a day, alongside a popular bootcamp and early-morning “5.30 Risers” programme.
The gym is led by New Zealand National Head Coach and former world champion Victoria Parr, known to many as Lady SMAC, alongside her husband, former pro boxer and multi disciplined high performance coach, Quentin Parr. The pair now work full-time in the gym, designing, implementing programmes for rangatahi, tamariki, youth at risk, and the wider community. Their long-standing reputation for developing young athletes – and a number of successful fighters in both Featherston and SMAC Auckland – sets the stage for what they
say will be a “booming 2026.”
