Flying High in Hong Kong
At this year’s inaugural St John Asia Pacific Youth Competitions, held from 26 July – 4 August, ten Hato Hone St John youth trained and fundraised hard to represent Aotearoa New Zealand. The cadets did an incredible job, bringing home multiple trophies in their hand luggage and our team was announced as second overall behind Hong Kong – an incredible achievement! One of these cadets was Isaac Burt, from Featherston. “Being selected for the team and competing at the Asia Pacific Youth Competitions is no easy feat and is a testament to Isaac’s hard work and dedication. I know the Hato Hone St John Featherston Youth Division and the wider Wairarapa District are very proud of him and his achievements in Hong Kong.
