It took a few days to find the words to describe our gratitude and excitement after our first Pride Festival. We thought we might have 100 or so people parading through our streets in flamboyant spectacle, and we actually don’t know what the official number was. 300? 500? Reports vary! What we do know is that from the parade to the picnic, to the party (and the brunches the next day) the day was full of joy, laughter, pride, extravagance, and frivolity. The vibes were immaculate. We turned it out, for sure.
